The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 78
That Magic Nr. 78
Today is show number 78 - that magic number so today I'll play from 78s only. So the music will be spiced up with authentic shellac hiss and cracks in the grooves - I just edited out the backwards skipping grooves. Today's talk will be partly about records rather than the musicians - and so I'll teach you that 33 plus 45 make 78, why I think shellac records hiss louder on the outside and what constant linear velocity is.
