Legends from Houston, TX today, from the local Freedom label. The label existed from 1948 to 1952 and that was exactly the years when the rock 'n roll was defined by African-American music, the Rhythm & Blues. This label played an important role in that, with artists like Goree Carter, Lonnie Lyons and above all, Big Joe Turner.
