Today's mixed playlist brings us an enjoyable blend of very special artists and music. Sam Theard as the forgotten multitalent artist - with substantial influence as a songwriter. Clarence Williams with an apparently Duke Ellington inspired goodie, recorded in a time when most of his output was nice, danceable goodtime washboard 'n jug music. Double entendres of Georgia White and Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson and a nice blues of one of the hottest vocal groups of the fifties.
