The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 24
Legends Mix #6
In the small, flat country that I live in, I usually ride the seven miles to my work on my bicycle, which is not uncommon here. But when it rains I take the bus, and in this episode of the Legends, I play the music that was on my mp3 player today and yesterday when I rode the bus to and from my work. So if you encounter a rocking Dutchman in bus 23 or 45 in the morning or the late afternoon - it's me.
Today's playlist starts with a song, apparently inspired by a good smoke, that I promised you some time ago, and it features the smoky voice of the lead singer of one of the obscurest bands of the R&B era, and a whole lot more that spices up any journey from A to B. So enjoy!
