The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 232

Legends Mix

When you once belonged to the hottest and greatest of the Rhytm & Blues artists, it may sound a bit sad to spend the last 25 years of your career in a dixieland band entertaining the visitors of Disneyland in the French Quarter area. But with that, Jack McVea did much better than most of the Rhythm & Blues musicians who found out that everything had changed since Rock 'n Roll struck the nation. At least it was better than gathering scrap metal for a living, because that was what he had to rely on before the Disney corporation asked him.

And also today the advice to put the name Original in the name of your band, just in case fifty years later another band comes up with the same name.
