Decca Sepia Series

I promised you already a few times so here it is - the first show on Decca's Sepia series, that numbered 8500 and up and that was started in 1940 to get releases that might cross over to the general audiences, some more promotion budget.

And where the 7000 "Race" series generally got blues, this series showcases the transition from swing to Rhythm & Blues as we know it from the late forties. So a lot of great music for today - and also some explanation on that third Sonny Boy.
