The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 181
Playing from re-issue albums
Today some Rhythm & Blues from a pile of re-issue albums from the 80s that I still have to catalog properly. Most come from a friend of mine, but tonight's opener I borrowed from a colleague of mine, she asked me to digitalize it. It's a pretty special album on blues from strong women - and that latter pretty much fits that colleague.
Most of the albums are European pressings from Britain and Sweden. From the eighies up to now, there's been a lot of re-issue activity in Europe, and these albums were just the start of it.
