The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 115
80's reissue albums
Every now and then I play from my still uncatalogued collection of vinyl - reissue albums, mostly European pressings from the eighties. Rhythm & Blues had still to be rediscovered, and artists often were still alive so on the liner notes you found either interviews with the musicians featured on the album, or the writers had done a lot of effort to hide their shallow research under a blanket of a thousand words.
But then, it's what's in the microgrooves that counts, so I spun some of them at that moderate 33 RPM speed to deliver you today's allsorts of Rhythm & Blues.
