The Legends of the Rocking Dutchman - episode 109
Legends Mix
Today's set is a mix of music that I got while preparing previous shows, like I'm looking for one track and it comes with a whole album, and also some unspun 78's - that is, not played on this program - and some stuff I recently got from a friend. The music is as mixed as its sources. With today's highligts: an obscure and wild, raw and unsophisticated blues woman, a rare double-sider with a history that goes back to the early twenties and one of the greatest blues voices in the big band era.
