Just little over two months in the early spring of 1940. Today's show features Decca recordings that were done somewhere between mid-February to early April. A short time, where the war was building up in Europe and America's history was in a lull. The blues had their usual subjects and swing was hot. In that frame of time seventeen great sides from the leading label in Rhythm & Blues.
