We didn't rob the bank, we didn't win the lottery and we didn't inherit a fortune. We were both amazed that this was within reach for two simple hard working people.
OK - We're savers. Definitely. I'm living in the same simple appartment for twenty years (Gusta for as long as we know each other). Never felt like moving to a huge house with a huge garden and a huge mortgage. We never planned this but the choices we made in the past did make this possible.
I always thought a second home abroad would be something for millionaires. I't still hard to believe. I think it'll take quite some time to get used to the idea. I imagine Gusta and me on the veranda with a glass of wine, at the pool and the palm trees. Pinch me Gusta. Am I dreaming or is this all, really ours?
